White Eye the short film directed by Tomer Shushan has been selected for the 93 Oscars in the live action short film category.

The one-take, one-shot realist drama takes place in south Tel Aviv. Omer (Daniel Gad) spots his stolen bike standing next to a meat factory. He tries to retrieve it but along the way looses his humanity,

Following a successful year winning Israeli Short Film Competition at Haifa International Film Festival (2019,) best Director at Rio de Janeiro Curta Cinema (2020,) Short Film Award Best International Short Fiction Galway Film Fleadh (2020,) and the prestigious SXSW Grand Jury Award at SXSW Film Festival (2020,) White Eye (2019) directed by Tomer Shushan, was among the five films that will compete in the Live Action Short Film category for the 93rd Academy Awards. One hundred seventy-four films qualified in the category.
